The publication of Nerio Papik Poggi‘s latest album Little Songs For Big Elevators is still fresh, and the Roman producer presents us, at Christmas, the new volume of his collections of classic Italian songs revisited in his typical Nu Jazz Lounge style.
After the volumes dedicated to Bruno Martino, Mina and Lucio Battisti, in this collection there is no tribute to one but to many, namely: Matia Bazar, Riccardo Cocciante, Ornella Vanoni, Mina, Lucio Battisti, Gino Paoli, Cochi and Renato, Pino Daniele, the Poohs, Luigi Tenco, Mario Lavezzi, Fred Buongusto, Marcella Bella, La Bottega Dell’Arte and Roberta Voltolini.
We also find Vittoria Sigillino, Paco Di Maso, Letizia Liberati, Tony Fornari and Stefano Fresi, Daniela Fiorentino and Greta Mirall, along with some of his loyal collaborators like Alan Scaffardi, Frankie Lovecchio, Alessandro Pitoni, Francesca Gramegna and Stefy Gamboni.
