Almost six years after the last recording job Due, the Portfolios are back. No boredom, no pastel tones, no alternative bad luck, no skip… arrogant, arrogant, pretentious and obnoxious as the characters that populate it – the new record of the Reggio band, entitled Stefi Wonder, is made of 8 songs that split and they move between pop, funk, soul, and rock. More direct, homogeneous and close to the song form than in the past; not for this reason less personal. Hot in the sounds, sincere in intentions and stuffed with so much irony-filth: a kick in the ass to the indie-Italic clichés, with the best mainstream intentions. Province of Emilia meets California.

Portfolio were born in 2003 in the province of Reggio Emilia. The debut takes place on the occasion of the opening of the Tora Tora Festival 2003 in Castelnovo ne ‘Monti (Reggio Emilia), where the band performs together with known bands of the independent Italian music scene. Stefi Wonder is their fifth job, arrived after going through different musical worlds, from trip-hop to post-rock, with impro free-jazz veins. The sound of Stefi Wonder is the result of the experiences of Tiziano Bianchi, school trumpeter Berklee, Emilio Marconi, Bojan Fazlagic, Giacomo Parmeggiani, and Marco Frattini.
