Vitolino Bellisario (aka Vitolino Vibe) is an Italian DJ and producer who brings the
evolution and energy of clubbing to the decks. Active since 1980, he began his career in
the golden age of vinyl, developing his skills in underground clubs and constantly digging
through the grooves of Italo-disco, funk, Afro-funk, soul, and boogie.
This profound knowledge of selection, developed over years of clubbing and feverish
research in record stores, has become the true driving force behind his studio work.
Capable of constantly renewing himself without ever betraying his analog roots, he has
successfully translated the warmth of vintage samplers and synthesizers into a modern,
fresh, and internationally-inspired sound, which has earned him a permanent place with
Irma Records.
A key aspect of his growth and recording career is his artistic relationship
with Cesare Cera (a key figure in the label and the mind behind the Black Mighty Wax
project), with whom he actively collaborates both in songwriting and in selecting tracks for
major genre compilations.
His career today spans pure club performances and prolific composition, where he
expertly blends underground house, nu-disco, and acid jazz. His signature style,
recognizable thanks to its rousing horn sections and unmistakable bass lines, allows him
to seamlessly blend between the sets of the most sophisticated DJs and digital dance
playlists around the world. Alongside this solo dimension, he collaborates with musicians and exponents of electronic music, continuing to redefine the concept of groove with ever-
changing sound research.
