The series, produced by Papik and dedicated to the Cocktail Music, started with the tribute to Bruno Martino and continued with the tribute to Mina and Lucio Battisti, inaugurates this new year 2018 with a tribute to Fausto Papetti and his sax. The well-known Italian musician was the forerunner of the cocktail genre and in the 70s, 80s and 90s his unforgettable ‘Collections’ with ultra sexy covers did not go unnoticed by most Italians. The sound of his sax was finally his real characteristic and therefore Cocktail Sax is mainly dedicated to him. The instrumental music is however one of the favorite currently, just for its use as background a evenings and events, creating a refined atmosphere, elegant but also friendly. The artist who performs the instrument is Fabio Tullio, one of Nerio ‘Papik’ Poggi’s permanent collaborators. Fabio Tullio participates in 1985 at the jazz festival of Roccella Jonica with Mario Schiano, A.Vannucchi, G.Rosciglione, G.Munari and other RAI musicians.

In 1986 he won the New Talents competition, promoted by Rai 3 and ISMEZ and took part in the Jazz Festival of Roccella Jonica of the same year. After collaborating with Paolo Fresu, Tiziana Ghiglioni, John Arnold, Massimo Urbani, Massimo Moriconi, Cosmo Intini, Fabrizio Sferra, Paolo Damiani, Ettore Fioravanti, Tony Formichella, Cicci Santucci, he gave himself to light music, recording, among others, with Heather Parisi, Papa Son Style, Gilda Giuliani. In 1995 he recreated the News quartet with Pierpaolo Principato, Piero Simoncini and Gigi Zito, returning to play in the clubs and participating in the San Remo Jazz Festival with the training of pianist Claudio Passavanti.
