IRMA’s offices are in Bentivoglio (a City located in between Bologna and Ferrara’s provinces), and is only 25 Km away from the earthquake’s epicentre (Finale Emilia). Luckily so far, no one was injured, no major damages have occurred in our building and equipments, but some of our Artists that live even nearer to the most affected areas are sleeping in their cars terrorised to go back to their homes !
We are all very shocked by this tragic event, apart from the big scare we’ve had, on that morning of Sunday 20th May at 4.03am, we now live constantly hearing the aftershock assessments, and we fear, as forecasted, other strong fresh tremors, as the ones heard on Sunday if not stronger.
Unfortunately, as often happens, the earthquake news are not covering the media headlines in TV’s, Radios, web sites or newspapers. In reality the discomfort has just began and fear is still riding high.
With this report IRMA records wants to keep the attention level alive on this grave situation that we feel totally involved in, as all the people living in Emilia Romagna !
