Brothers Enzo and Gianni Lo Greco continue their artistic journey with productions deeply rooted in jazz and black music, pursuing a sonic exploration that blends tradition, experimentation, and a contemporary approach. Alongside long-standing projects like Soulstance, which lean toward a language closer to jazz-funk and instrumental fusion, they launched Maison Jaxx, a label more geared toward dancefloor and club culture, where the sound embraces new rhythmic and stylistic influences.
The project develops through the intersection of Jazz House, Breakbeat, and Afro influences, creating a balance between electronic elements and live instruments. The rhythmic structures typical of club music blend with the harmonic and timbral depth of jazz, thanks to the use of instruments such as acoustic piano, saxophone, and trumpet, which enrich the sound with organic and dynamic colors. The result is music that maintains a strong groove identity, yet retains elegance, improvisation, and attention to sonic detail. Maison Jaxx thus represents a natural evolution in the Lo Greco Bros’ journey: a meeting point between dancefloor energy and jazz sensibility, where rhythm becomes a language and cross-pollination is a central part of musical creation.
