Datura is a powerful hallucinogen plant. For Centuries, Datura has been used as an herbal medicine to relieve asthma symptoms and as an analgesic during surgery. On the year 1992, four italian guys changed the meaning of this word and, taking insertion by the name of the plant, they founded a Group called DATURA: Ciro Pagano and Stefano Mazzavillani (the two musicians) plus Ricci and Cirillo (the two DJs), started working on their first musical project. “Yerba del Diablo” was the title of their first single which got a big success in Europe and especially in Italy where it reached the position number 1 on the sales chart. After that the DATURA follow up single called “Eternity” kept high this success and it was number 1 on the italian sales chart and also number 1 on the italian Radios Airplay.
