2 Men 4 Soul is an Italian project rooted in the acid jazz, soulful house, and nu soul scenes that developed around Irma Records in the 1990s. The group was born from the encounter between figures from the Italian house and soul culture, blending influences of jazz-funk, contemporary R&B, and sophisticated dance sounds. According to information released in the official releases, the project brings together “1/3 of Jestofunk” with the vocals of “1/2 of Double Dee,” along with singer Ben Volpeliere, former member of Curiosity Killed The Cat, creating a sound strongly oriented toward modern soul, groove, and acid jazz influences.

Their recording debut came in the second half of the 1990s with singles such as “Spread Your Love” and “Operator,” productions that gained attention in the international club scene thanks to their fusion of house music, vocal soul, and jazzy arrangements. Their self-titled album, “2 Men 4 Soul,” released by Irma Records in 1998, further cemented the project’s identity, characterized by warm atmospheres, refined vocals, and elegant, contemporary production.
